Instagram is a blessed platform for this advanced generation that we live in. A way that Instagram influencers make it big to this platform is by using fitness as a tool. But, does having a good physique really mean that you are a health expert? Having a good physique means that you have worked hard to achieved it and props to you for that but it does not qualify you as an expert on health and fitness.
Hers why you should stop taking fitness advice from Instagram Models:
1. Heavily Edited Photos
News Flash! All that you see on Instagram is heavily edited with countless numbers of apps, software, etc. These Instagram models always post pictures where they Appear to look more fit than they are. A lot of camera work, editing, lighting and all those stuff are used to make them look like.
2. Advertising Unsatisfactory Products
These influencers with a high number of followers are usually paid by companies to advertise products. I don’t have a problem with this, it’s a good way of earning money. But they promote the product that they don’t even use and we, the common people, have this misconception that if we buy that then it will somehow improve our physique. These ads make us believe like we need this product to have a physique like them.
3. Giving Pseudo Health Tips
Some people are out here really giving out the worst of advice about health and fitness. A guy on YouTube literally said applying balm on the skin can reduce fat from your body. These guys do this just to make their more likeable and watchable to the masses. They also use click bates like telling you that you can lose a shit load of weight in less than 30 months. These influencers sometimes don’t even care that they are reaching to a large audience and how their words will affect people.

4. Promoting Risky Diets
A healthy diet does great things in building a great physique. But you have to concentrate on the word healthy. There were many new diets emerging that could supposedly help you reduce weight and build muscles. Your keto diets, carb loading, no water diets, etc. have significant side effects on your healthy bodies. Influencers usually try to give you shortcuts to most things while the truth is that there is no short cut for good things in life.
