Say whatever you want, but first impressions are crucial. We make long term judgements about a person by just looking at and talking to them for the first time. It’s true that the appearance of a person can’t determine the nature or skill of a person but they do send a subconscious message about the person. So whenever you’re going for an interview you should always aim to look and be your complete self.
Here are a few tips for looking your best to nail that job interview:

One of the biggest pet peeve I have is having my shirt all wet with my sweat. It makes me look stinky and sloppy. The best way I have found out to deal with this is to apply antiperspirant the night before on dry underams. Protip: If this doesn’t help buy a good undershirt.
10 years back if I went to an interview with a full grown beard I might have not been even thought of for the opportunity. But, times have changed now beard also include the” Corporate” look. Before going for an interview you should consider going for a haircut and clean up the edges of the beard. A quick skincare routine might even come in handy.
All the above tips are going to fail if you are not confident in yourself. You could be wearing a badass pinstripe suit with chelsea boots, but if you are walking with slouched shoulders and have a dull energy all the above goes in the drain. Have positive energy and walk with your chest out, make eye contact, keep a nice smile in your face at most times.
