2. Rancho From 3 Idiots (2009)
Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots is a praiseworthy movie that is based on subtle topics like student life, friendship and the reality of the competitive world. Rancho’s character (played by Aamir Khan) inspires us to be happy and content with what we have. He teaches us how much happier we can be in life if we just let our guards down and relax. With his famous phrase, “All is well!” he filled the hearts of the viewers with inspiration.
3. Karan Shergill From Lakshya (2004)
Played by Hrithik Roshan, Karan Shergill is a jobless young man who has no idea what to do with his life. He finally decides to join the army and later in the movie becomes the part of a difficult but successful operation army operation. As the movie proceeds, the character of Karan grows from an aimless youngster to a strong, clear-headed man. 4. Raju From Mera Naam Joker (1970)
Words fail to describe the brilliance of this movie. This classic movie revolves around the life of Raju (played by Raj Kapoor), a joker in a circus. The character is so well played by the brilliant actor that even after years, it never fails to touch the sentiment of the viewers. The character of Raju has so much love in his heart that even the whole world is not enough to return his love. Through the veils of comedy and tragedy, Raju shows us how love can change the world.
5. Ishaan Awasthi From Taare Zameen Par (2007)
Ishaan Awasthi (played by Darsheel Safary) is a dyslexic eight-year-old kid who is a good painter but bad in academics. His parents don’t understand he is differently-abled and keeps pressuring him. Ishaan’s character inspires us to believe in the fact that one day the world will know our true worth, even though failure is all we face now.
6. Iqbaal From Iqbaal (2005)
Iqbaal (played by Shreyas Talpade) is a deaf and dumb boy who loves the sport of cricket and wants to make it big. Despite his inability to hear and speak, the financial status of his family and his father’s opposition, he reaches his goal. He becomes an international cricketer of the Indian team. The message from this character is clear- if a deaf and dumb person can work hard and achieve his goal, why can’t we.
7. Mohan Bhargav From (2004)
Mohan (played by Shah Rukh Khan) is a successful scientist in NASA who comes to India to take his Nanny with him to take care of her in her old age. In this process, he comes face to face with the problems faced by the people of rural India. He finally decides to stay back and work for the welfare of the people of his homeland. His character inspires us to do something for our motherland, for our people without any selfish motive.
8. Murad From Gully Boy (2019)
Murad (played by Ranveer Singh) is an aspiring rapper born in the slums of Dharavi, Mumbai. Despite his poverty and various other odds, he makes it big and achieves his goal of becoming a well-known rapper. His character inspires us to believe in ourselves and reach out to our dreams.
